Happy Holidays: 1/2 Day Friday, December 23rd
Friday, December 23rd is a 1/2 day. Dismissal is at 12:30. Lunch will be served. The Holiday vacation begins tomorrow at 12:30. School will resume on Tuesday, January 3, 2012.

Holiday Program at the Altavesta
Come join us on Monday, December 19th the Altavesta School for the Holiday Program. The program will be held in the cafeteria and will begin at 9:00am. Doors will open at 8:50am.
Annual Altavesta PTO Holiday Breakfast
Come join us for some Holiday Cheer this Sunday, December 11th from 9am-11:30am for our Annual Holiday Breakfast. Enjoy a homecooked breakfast of eggs, pancakes, sausages, bacon, bagels, muffins, coffee and tea.
We'll have raffles, and crafts for the kids.
This event is open to the public so we suggest you purchase tickets in advance. Tickets will also be sold at the door. $4 for adults $3 for seniors and children 12 and under. Hope to see you there!
We are still looking for donations for our raffle baskets; please check the theme list that was sent home with your child. Kindergarten- Holiday Helper; First Grade- Creative Play; Second Grade -Family Night; Third Grade - Crazy for Cooking; Fourth Grade - Sports of All Kinds; Fifth Grade - Pamper Me. Thank you for your support of our PTO and all the wonderful enrichment programs they bring to our school.

Wednesday, November 23rd is a 1/2 day. Dismissal is at 12:00. There will be no breakfast and no lunch served. Enjoy the Thanksgiving break. School begins again on Monday, November 28th at 8:15.
I would also like to remind you that the Woburn Festival on the Common will take place on Saturday, November 26th beginning at 3PM. Please come down and help to decorate the Altavesta tree with the decorations that each child has made at school.
Veteran’s Day Program
On Monday, November 7, 2011, the students in grades 3, 4, and 5 will perform in the Mary D. Altavesta Veteran's Day Program at 9:00. The program will be held in the cafeteria. Thank you to those who submitted photos of veterans for the slide show.
