BLACK OUT BULLYING
Wednesday, January 25th was “No Name Calling Day” and “Black Out Bullying Day” at the Malcolm White School. As a school, we reiterated the purpose of this day- to ensure that all students have a safe learning environment. Students and staff dressed in all black as a sign of their commitment to black out bullying. Also, students took a stand against bullying by signing a banner. Lastly, to promote tolerance and respect for differences, classrooms read various books, which suggest such themes.

TOMORROW IS BLACK OUT BULLYING/NO NAME CALLING DAY
As a sign of their commitment to Black Out Bullying, all students are invited to wear black tomorrow. Additionally, students will be invited to take a stand against bullying by making a pledge and signing a banner. As a school, we are excited to be joining other schools across the city and Commonwealth in this worthwhile effort.
TIGERS AT PLAY
In the spirit of getting kids involved in preferred activities at school, beyond the end of the day, we are pleased to introduce Tigers at Play to you all. Students have the opportunity to register for activities that will run after school, once per week, for six weeks. Please review this registration packet and if you'd like to enroll your child please send the registration paper and check in with your child. Thank you to Mrs. Pecina and Mrs. Coviello for all of their work in organizing this already successful program. Also, thank you to the teachers, parents and other adults who've offered their time to facilitate these offerings.
Before School Program Update
