The Italy Project
Woburn worked with the Italian Consulate in Boston on a collaborative program with a high school in Bologna. Students are studying impacts on the environment due to climate change. The AP Environmental Science classes in Woburn have been meeting virtually with the students in Italy to experience working with other science students discussing and experimenting on a real-world problem. The Italy Collaboration has been an opportunity for students to work with student scientists, consider a real-world problem and discuss consequences and solutions with students in Europe. It allows students to learn to communicate and function as actual scientists.
