Woburn Public Schools now uses ParentSquare as our primary tool for school to home communication. It’s now the way every school and classroom in the district reaches families, whether that’s a note from a teacher, a school wide announcement, or a district update.

An account is created automatically for each parent or guardian, using the phone number and email address on file with your child’s school in PowerSchool. That’s what lets ParentSquare reach you by text, email, or the mobile app, whichever you prefer.

What you can do with a ParentSquare account

  • See every message from the district, your child’s school, their classroom, and any activity groups in one place
  • Follow school and district news, events, and calendars
  • Message your child’s teachers and school staff directly
  • Pick how you’re reached: text, email, or the mobile app
  • Get messages the moment they’re sent, or bundled into a single digest later in the day
  • Set your preferred language, with translation built in
  • Take part in group and classroom conversations
  • Sign up for parent teacher conferences right from the platform

Get the ParentSquare app

The mobile app is the easiest way to stay on top of school communication. Notifications come straight to your phone, you can message your child’s teacher from anywhere, and photos, files, and calendar events open right in the app instead of a browser.

It’s free, and works on both iPhone and Android.

Frequently Asked Questions

Getting started and Account Access

I never got an invitation. What do I do?

This usually means the school has an outdated phone number or email on file. Contact your child’s school to confirm your contact information in PowerSchool, you can also check your Spam folder to ensure the invitation was not marked as spam by your email provider.

What if my invitation link no longer works?

Invitation links expire after 24 hours, but you don’t need a new one. Go directly to https://www.parentsquare.com/signin and create your account using the email address on file with your child’s school.

What if I'm unable to sign in?
If neither your email nor phone number works to sign in, contact your child’s school office to make sure your contact information in PowerSchool is correct and up to date.
What if I'm missing a child on my account?

If you are unable to see a child in ParentSquare, please reach out to the school directly for assistance. Changes will need to be made in PowerSchool and these changes will take 24 hours to sync into ParentSquare.

My email is correct, but I'm still not getting messages. What do I do?

Check your spam folder first, and mark any ParentSquare messages as not spam. Adding ParentSquare’s sender address to your contacts can also help. If messages still aren’t arriving, reach out to ParentSquare support directly at support@parentsquare.com

How do I update my email or phone number?

To update your email or phone number, please contact your child’s school. ParentSquare syncs its information from PowerSchool so this will automatically update ParentSquare. Please note that any changes in PowerSchool will take 24 hours to sync.

How do I reset my password?
On the ParentSquare sign in page, click “Forgot Password” and follow the prompts using your email or phone number.

Using ParentSquare

Can I receive messages in a language other than English?
Yes. Go to My Account and update your language preference, and future messages will be translated automatically. See ParentSquare’s language settings guide.
How do I message my child's teacher privately?
Open Messaging from the sidebar on the ParentSquare home page and start a new direct message. Only you and the staff member you message can see it, and the same tool works for coaches, club leaders, and other school staff. See ParentSquare’s guide to sending a private or group message.
My spouse and I share a login. Is that a problem?
Each parent or guardian should ideally use their own email or phone number, since only one person can log in with a shared email address at a time. If you share an email, the other parent can log in using their own phone number instead, or contact the school to set up separate contact information.
We're a split household with custody restrictions. Will the other parent see my information?
No. Each parent or guardian has a separate account, and each only sees information tied to their own login, not the other parent’s contact details.
Can I share my login with a relative or babysitter?
We don’t recommend it. ParentSquare accounts contain personal information about your child, so sharing login credentials means sharing that information too.
I'm getting too many notifications. Can I cut down on them?
Yes. From My Account, open your notification settings and switch to the Digest option, which bundles the day’s messages into a single notification instead of sending each one as it arrives. See ParentSquare’s guide to notification settings.
